What to expect
One – to – one counselling
• I will provide a regular time and space for you. A counselling session lasts about fifty minutes.
• I offer both short and long-term therapy as some clients like to decide on a number before starting work, whereas others prefer to leave things more open ended
• There will be regular review sessions, about every five weeks to look at how the therapy is progressing.
• I will provide an environment where you can feel acknowledged, respected and accepted. This will provide the opportunity to explore together any thoughts, feelings or situations you would like to discuss
• I work in a person centred way although I use other therapies to help the process when necessary such as cognitive behavioural, creative therapy and solution focussed approaches.
